  1. User Research

Always looking to add context and insight to the design process I find user research techniques of great value, never underestimating their role in growing the designer within me.

I’m well capable of running qualitative personas research, creating user profiles, writing scenarios, product use cases and storyboards.

  2. Information Architecture

I have big interest in IA which combined with experience gained while working on various sites of differing complexity makes up an extra asset for any project I’m involved in.

I’m good at analyzing and organizing data. I like to have my opinion on site content outline, enjoy moderating card sorting sessions, preparing site maps and page content diagrams.

  3. Interaction Design

With usability and accessibility principles in mind I like to explore new and create innovative user interface modules that add to the library of existing design patterns.

To make sure interfaces I design are easy to use, responsive and engaging I create interactive wireframes which I start testing from the earliest phases of the design process.

  4. User Interface Design

I have an eye for detail, can make colors work together, enjoy playing with type and breaking the grid. I don’t do rich visuals and heavy graphics. I keep things simple.

In early design stages I concentrate on designing everything from simple sketches up to high fidelity dynamic wireframes. Once that is done I create high quality visual concepts.

  5. Front-end Development

My ability to write clean, maintainable and semantic code is stellar. I develop sustainable front-end architectures for rich internet applications and complex web sites.

I create quick HTML, CSS & JS dynamic prototypes for early testing purposes as well as file structures, and personalized HTML & CSS frameworks for production environments.

  6. Product Evaluation

Getting to know users and studying their interactions with interfaces is a large part of my job, constantly aiming not only to assure a project’s success but also to improve as a designer.

I examine web analytics data; organize, moderate and analyze usability testing sessions and conduct spontaneous project evaluation sessions with project stakeholders.
